Another set of outstanding results for students at Devonport High School for Girls
Students at Devonport High School for Girls are yet again celebrating fantastic GCSE exam results this year. Students, on average, achieved a Grade 8. More than 75% of papers received the top 9 to 7 grades and 25% of all results awarded were Grade 9s (the highest possible grade). Many students will now transfer into the school’s Sixth Form and take up a place on A Level courses from September.
Lee Sargeant, Head Teacher, said ‘It is particularly pleasing to see the students achieve such fantastic results, and I am extremely proud of them. They have worked incredibly hard and deserve every success. My thanks also go to the staff and families who supported them to achieve so well. I wish all the students the best of luck as they move into their next phase of education, and I am very much looking forward to welcoming back many of them into the DHSG Sixth Form.’
