Mars Wrigley on Thursday 8th November.
A group of 10 year 7's spent the day taking part in a Lego Mindstorm robot challenge at Mars Wrigley on Thursday 8th November. The challenge involved building and programming a 3-wheeled robot to run an obstacle course, covering the greatest distance in the least time. The aim of the day, which was organised by Learning to Work, was to allow students to experience working in unfamiliar groups on STEM tasks and also to find out about Engineering Apprenticeships. It was a busy and enjoyable day, and Mars Wrigley were the perfect hosts, providing the work space and also the prizes which were of course edible!
