DHSG top school in the Plymouth and surrounding area on Department for Education League Tables
Dear Parents / Carers and Students
As you will have seen published in the Herald in the summer we received the accolade of being judged the best school in the greater Plymouth area in the Real Schools Guide.
I am pleased to inform you that today the Department for Education League Tables also back this up with our position as top school in the Plymouth and surrounding area.
The Progress 8 measures a student's progress between Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 4 across eight key subjects. So high attainers that come in with pretty high grades from primary school need to get particularly high grades to ensure they have a positive Progress 8 score and ours is again significantly positive.
